The programs has following curricula: Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and an additional scholarship on the specific topic \u201cData Science\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>The PhD program in Information Engineering (<a href=\"https:\/\/informationengineering.dinfo.unifi.it\/\">https:\/\/informationengineering.dinfo.unifi.it\/<\/a>) with two curricula related to Data Science: Computer Engineering (&#8220;Multimedia e Computer Vision&#8221;, &#8220;Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatics&#8221;) and Control, Optimization and Complex Systems.<\/li>\n<li>The PhD program in Smart Computing (<a href=\"http:\/\/smartcomputing.unifi.it\/\">http:\/\/smartcomputing.unifi.it\/<\/a>) with additional scholarships on the following specific topics: \u201cMachine Learning and Explainable AI\u201d, \u201cSmart Wearable Systems for Personalized Healthcare\u201d, \u201cQuantitative Analysis and Software Architectures for Manufacturing Districts\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The general application call, in Italian and English, can be found at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unifi.it\/p11549.html\">https:\/\/www.unifi.it\/p11549.html<\/a>, application deadline is May 29th, 2019, at 12 am Italian time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PhD programs are offered at the University of Florence in a variety of disciplines.
