Angrist<\/strong> and <strong>Guido W. Imbens<\/strong> \u201c<em>for their methodological contributions to the analysis of causal relationships\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>We are especially happy to congratulate Guido W. Imbens, friend, colleague, and co-author of members of our research center (see the publication <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/biostatistics\/article\/5\/2\/207\/237330?login=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mealli, F., Imbens, G. W., Ferro, S., &amp; Biggeri, A., 2004<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Laureates\u2019 work is of great importance especially due to their methodological contributions in emphasizing the role of data as a rich source of knowledge and of extracting relevant information from the data to answer key causal questions, which has been of great benefit to society.
