The Florence Center for Data Science invites you to the Workshop “Francesca Romana Nardi: A life in probability, building communities across Europe”.<\/p>\n

It will take place in Florence from the 18th to the 22th of July, in memory of our beloved collegue and friend Francesca Romana Nardi, who passed away on October 21, 2021.<\/p>\n

We want to celebrate her life, her scientific contributions, and the affection that she brought among the community of probabilists, physicists and mathematicians.<\/p>\n

The event is is open to everyone interested.<\/p>\n

\nDeadline: 30th June<\/strong>
\nRegistration is free of charge.
\nFor organizational purposes we kindly ask participants to fill in this<\/p>\n

MEMORIAL SESSION:
\nOn Thursday, July 21, in the afternoon there will be a memorial session, both on site and streamed online. The idea of this session is to give floor to friends and collegues of Francesca included the ones who can’t join us in Florence, who wants to to share a few personal words, memories or anecdotes about her.
